Former CEO. Consultant. Author.

I help leaders build organizations where people, purpose, and performance stay connected.

This work has always been personal. After years of building and leading organizations, I’ve learned that culture and performance do not move separately. Organizations grow stronger when people feel seen, trusted, and connected to what they are building together.

My Approach

The strongest organizations are not built on constant oversight. They are built on clarity, alignment, and a culture that helps people lead well together.

My work brings strategy and execution together for leaders navigating growth, transition, and complexity. I help leadership teams create focus, strengthen alignment, and build healthier ways of working so success does not depend on one person carrying everything alone.

Great leadership is not about controlling every outcome. It is about building the alignment that allows people to lead well without constant intervention.
Experience

My experience was shaped by building, growing, and leading through real complexity.

I know what it means to lead when growth brings new pressure, decisions carry real weight, and the health of the business depends on more than strategy alone. That experience now shapes how I help leaders create alignment, clarity, and lasting traction.

I built my first business from a startup into a 120-person organization.

As the company grew, I learned that healthy growth depends on more than vision. It requires clear leadership, shared ownership, and a culture strong enough to support people as complexity increases.

I helped grow the business to $24M in annual revenue before acquisition.

That growth required practical leadership across strategy, sales, execution, and profitability. It also reinforced how quickly momentum can stall when teams lose clarity, alignment, or trust.

I led the company through a successful $70M sale.

That experience taught me what readiness really looks like. It deepened my understanding of stewardship, transition, and how to prepare an organization for change without losing its center.

How I Help

The moments when leaders usually reach out.

Every organization has its own story, but the need for outside perspective usually becomes clear in a few familiar seasons.

When growth begins to create more strain than clarity

From the outside, the business may still look strong. Inside, leaders often feel the drag of misalignment, confusion, or competing priorities. I help leadership teams restore focus, reconnect strategy to execution, and create steadier rhythms for accountability.

When transition exposes what was never fully aligned

Leadership changes, ownership shifts, and market pressure often reveal where trust or clarity has been thinner than it seemed. I provide grounded outside perspective during key transitions and help leaders move from reactivity back to shared intention.

When people are working hard but the culture feels off

Sometimes the real issue does not show up on a dashboard. It appears in communication, energy, trust, and the quiet loss of ownership across a team. I help surface the friction, strengthen leadership behavior, and create healthier conditions for engagement and follow-through.

Perspective

My perspective has been shaped not only by leadership experience, but by the ideas I’ve worked out through writing.

The books I’ve written reflect the convictions that continue to shape my work with leaders: alignment matters, empathy is not weakness, and healthy organizations are built when people are treated as more than a means to an end.

Align came from years of trying to understand why some teams flourish while others quietly lose clarity, trust, and energy. It puts language to the patterns I kept seeing in leadership, culture, and fulfillment at work.

“If you want to build a great team, and do great things, pick up a copy of Align, and get ready for amazing results.”

Empathy Revolution

Empathy Revolution carries that work further by exploring a form of leadership rooted in empathy, vulnerability, and service. It reflects my belief that strong organizations become more resilient when leaders build cultures that are both high-performing and deeply human.

“This is an extremely insightful and powerful book. Really. It has profound, hopeful implications for how we must lead and live in a society that has become so lost and isolated. I love this book and want everyone to read and understand it.”
